During his 13 years as a Boston Celtic he was the 1980 Rookie of the Year, a 12-time NBA All-Star and scored more than 21, 000 career points. In addition to leading the Green and White to three championships, Bird was co-captain of the first U.S.A. Dream Team and led them to Olympic gold in 1992.
